It has been a long time.I am not myself even now. I can picture a big vial of iron.Just what I want for the new year,the creeping brown stain of injected iron. All I really want to accomplish isnt even 1/4 done.It is early if I get up by 10.

I have to make plans to get 2 teeth pulled, joy and sunshine!! I have to get my eyes checked and a new prescription done. I want glass lenses,no-line bifocal.and gets dark in light.Had it up to the top of my head with plastic lensed,they scratch,collect dust and dont weigh less that glass lenses.

We managed to get our guarantor to sign our passport applications. The passport office is busy in January so thats when we will go in and get it all finished and paid for.Xmas cards are a couple of weeks overdue to be done maybe I should sit down and do them. well, I am going to go to bed and see if I get up earlier. the post last night is somewhere in cyberspace,just finishing up and it was just gone.I hate Windows7 so much.Wish someone would write Windows7 for Dummies.I figured that I can play CD,s but when I tried it again,nothing happened. I didnt try another because if it didnt work,I would throw it at the wall. If I lose this blog,i may throw away the computer.
We are going into Edmonton on Wednesday,Ian wants to take back cartridge boxes. They are supposed to fit my .243 but they dont. I dont know what else he wants to do,but we are stopping at an Asianmarket and buy some live crabs and sushi.He doesnt like California rolls so he will probably get Ahi tuna. I am going to get some tapioca starch,it thickens up stuff with no flavour and I need that for stews .I like to make a clear sauce for wok done veggies.
I did nothing but watch The Stand. we only have it in VCR but it is good no matter what format it is,Gary Sinese(spelling is wrong) man is he ever young in it !!!
tomortrow is laundry.Dirty little dog feet all over the white duvet. They can jump on the bed even without the stool but they like to launch themselves on to the bed.
I also have to fill out our passport applications.We have a guarantor just need to get pictures done.Our last pixs we used for our possession permits for the firearms. well I think I should head to bed and get some of my book read. There is nothing on TV so I can read and if something interesting comes on I will watch it as I read.well,nite to all.

Finally figured out how to be able to post stuff,cheated and downloaded Google Chrome.
Windows7 will make my hair greyer that it already is,when I lost xp,I lost all my addresses including the breeder.I need to get Billy"s vet records.Harry has to get his Rabie shot and so does Billy.Billy has lost all his excess weight,he looks thin compared to Harry but Harry has shed some blubber,too.Billy just loves Ian and likes to sit on his lap to get scratched and rubbed and Ian is so pleased with him.We have bought another small crate for travelling and another harness for him.his is black and Harrys is red.They drive me crazy when they start to wrestle during the night,I have to go sleep in the recliner.

We went camping in September at 2 places,but have winterized the trailer.Tomorrow will be a day trip,bringing the dogs because its supposed to be 24C and I dont like to leave them all day.The bladder infection from hell seems to be gone but I just finished the 2 week prescription yesterday morning. I dont really want to get IV antibiotics,hate the thought of them poking around for a possible vein.

It seems like my whole life has revolved around my bladder,pee and hurt or pee and dont hurt. I am hoping it will snow,dont dare say that to people we know.some are farmers with crops still needing to be combined. It is boring with bald trees ans only above normal temps. Well,I have to get some sleep,we are getting up early to go fishing,I will either sleep on the way up or on the way home but it is a safe bet I will be asleep at some time tomorrow!!nite all.now that I finally figured this out I will be back with all the boring details that are parts of my life.

Well went to the vascular surgeon today.He is a real nice guy,did a lot of explaining why I wont get surgery any time soon. He had checked my doppler
ultrasound.They dont,as in my case,rush in to surgery because the doppler measures the speed the blood is travelling in the carotid. Fast is bad,slow is good if the results showed he would book an OR immediately.Mine is slow so I get a doppler every year but if I have signs of a mini stroke,I am to go immediately to the hospital and will be transferred to a big hospital in Edmonton via Stars helicopter.

Back.I barfed,dont know why but I started sweating very heavily and I just knew I had to get to the bathroom,it would be gross to puke on my computer, even though I want to get a mac.

well,I finally found my blog,teenage gremlins had it off somewhere.It is still smokey outside,been coughing a lot,sure yesterday that I coughed up a lung.Our trip to Whitehorse was fantastic. Harry doesnt need gravol if he rides in his crate.When we would stop,Ian would get out and I would open the crate,Harry would wait until I finished putting him in the harness and wait until I was ready to go out. We hit a lot of smoke around Watson Lake,took a picture of the smoke lying on the road. Ian took a lot of great pixs,I took a blurry one of the ass end of a caribou. Needless to say,I told him I wasnt taking any more.
I personally helped the Yukons income! Besides the usual mugs and shot glasses,I bought sooo much. Of course the placer gold in a vial, Mammoth Ivory carved Raven head,and a whale tail,a pair of Silver carved earrings,again Ravens,and 2 other pair of earrings.

It was a great trip and really enjoyed it but next year its back up to Yellowknife.There are places there we havent seen. Got alarge rock and 2 smaller ones from the Yukon so will scrounge around every large gravel pit on the way to Yellowknife to find some larger rocks.They are pink and the highway is paved pink.

We are going to be by ourselves at the end of the month,daughter and grandson are moving to Hinton AB,and granddaughter will be doing her grade 12 with the kids she went with last year. Its not difficult to see her.

So I finally get to go to the Vascular surgeon on Tuesday. Have been waiting since last December. The smokey air has played hell with my breathing. Still think I coughed up a lung or two. I have my personal bottle of Buckleys with me all the time. Dont want to cough after a swig of that.

Had a chest xray and a sinus xray and if they show nothing I get a cat-scan. Never had one of those yet but they cant be any more boring that doppler ultrasounds.

We are going to have Harry's brother visit for a few days. The woman who was supposed to do it backed out at the last minute and really,what is one more Harry dog. The breeder is bring a male toy fox terrier up her to get his Canadian championship. She has run into a lot of red tape because she wont know which dog until she gets there and the customs want to know before hand which dog is being imported.

well it is almost 11:30 and I should get the meds taken and have a cup of herbal tea before bedtime,probably rooibos tea,love it.well will be back again now that I found my blog again.

wouldnt you know it we are in the midst of unstable air and we can hear thunder but no lightening,and the sun is shining. Ian went quadding but I had to stay home because they were going to the places that make me sea sick.Then I got stuck with Kristopher. He isnt potty trained and no daycare will take him Come hell or high water I am going to Whitehorse.Cathy is going to have to put in a more pro-active job with the potty. Caits starts grade 12 in September so she cant babysit then,we will be on holidays.

I can not believe the Lily beds this year.we have early,mid and late blooming lilies. I planted lilies this spring,Walmart specials and they produce huge plate size blooms!!
I prefer to plant perenials,more bang for the buck.Going to plant a Virginia Creeper next year and let it crawl all over the seat and over the trellis. wanted to plant some crocomosia,the red Lucifer but will have to wait till Ian realizes the only veggie we can grow is parsnips and spuds. Then maybe he will give me the veggie beds for flowers. Well I hope he does anyway.

well got the swollen legs fixed up now I have a marble size lump on the side of my leg. Doctor will think I am a walking accident!! well I have to get the chicken rolled in the mustardy,curry sauce before baking it.Caits invited a friend over for supper so will have to double everything.Didnt make dessert so will feed them oranges! I was a little upset when I figured I had a very screwed computer,nothing worked,lost programs and with me fooling with it,it went from bad to worse. Finally had to resort to system restore. It actually worked!I didnt do anything today but sleep,dont know why. I got up,read the paper and then went back to sleep until almost 1:30.Of course Harry was curled up right tight beside me. I dont know what Ian did but he made little noise. After I woke up,he cut the back grass. He raised the height of the lawnmower and it just takes off the tips of the grass. Looks nice and green and lush but when it gets to tickle Harry's belly,we know it needs to be cut.

We are going camping for a couple of days,our trial run to make sure everything is in the trailer.

we were going to go this week but I dont like going on a long weekend. Usually the lakes we like to go to are filled,then we have to find somewhere else. Dont have that problem going mid week.

When we went to West Ed Mall,we walked from one end to the other on the first level,walked from one and to the other on the 2nd floor. Ususlly I am done after one floor! wasnt even sore the next day either which is a surprise to me!!

Ian bought 6 guppies and 2 red wag fish.Since the Beta dies we can have guppies. He would kill them by ripping off their tails. Was told that male Betas are like that with any fish with fancy tails. Maybe this time we can catch the guppies having babies and have them in our birthing pen. The fish eat the babies as fast as they can. Even the mother will eat her babies.

Tomorrow I have to get some fresh air,cant spend so much time sleeping,If I could sleep and listen to music,would be a happy camper,also read!!!! My back hasnt been too bad recently but the arms have been bad,used over the counter rub,helps for a while,as does everything.Could be worse. Well am heading for bed after I fill my pill box.Be back sooner I hope.

well,I finally am at it again. I didnt call the doctor about my headaches because after a go round with my son and his partner,they stopped.Interesting to hear his point of view about his childhood. They both were very aggressive and I just said dont email me or message me that I have had enough. It started when he read my Granddaughter's wall. Our Granddaughter from Moose Jaw,came to visit us on fathers day.It was so great,my daughters 2 kids came,too. It was a bit difficult at first as her Dad had died Saturday morning.Her mother told her to keep with her plans to see us. Natalie is a beautiful girl,Ronda has done a great job with her.

Now that the headaches are gone it is easier to get my travel list put together as well as my shopping list. It is going to be a big shop this time, have run out of basics,kitty litter,cat food and canned stuff. Ian needs some 2x2's for something and he is going to raise our mattress by at leas 2 inches,make it easier for me to get out of bed,especially when I have my whole leg is crippled up with charlie horses, painful suckers. When my feet get them,I cant walk until they are gone.

We have had thunder storms for 5 out of 7 days. I had to move the Yucca over to where it can take advantage of the rain. The thing has grown so much over the winter so I might have to put it in a bigger pot. I bought 2 neglected Xmas cacti and repotted them. They are both putting on new leaves so might bloom this year.The only things I cant grow are Ivy of any kind and Norfolk Island Pines. Maybe I should just think of them as temporary plants. All my plants are in the livingroom,facing east and they get filtered light all year. Bathroom has a huge spider plant with babies hanging all over the place. It soon will take over the bathroom !!!

We are having octopus for supper. Ian has followed a recipe from a cookbook,and so far the ugly thing is tender. Just has to cut it up and grill till its crisp. I thought it would already cut up but after it was thawed, it came out of the package as one whole octopus. Cant wait for supper !!!

well,I need to get some lunch and check my lists for tomorrow. will be back sooner then I have been.

well, we went quadding where the brush fire was. It was desolate,some place there were acres and acres of burned trees. But everywhere we saw signs that nature was fighting back. Green grass,fireweed and little marsh flowers. I was getting ill when we decided it was enough,it was so hot with all the trees and undergrowth all burned away. I get sea-sick and all the humps and bumps made me feel like I was going to barf.

It is just getting cool now at almost 10pm.we keep the windows closed until the outside is cooler then the inside. Think I will go and sit outside where it is cooler. The cops have been driving round and round the streets,wonder if someone else has had a quad stollen. that word doesnt look right somehow. We are having the grandkids that live near out for Fathers day. be real nice for Ian. Cathy and the kids will be out at 11,so I can get Caits to help.vacum the kitchen,will close the doors to the other rooms so only have to clean the bathroom.

I am not even cooking tomorrow,Ian is doing steaks and steaming new potatos. I am going to sit like a Buddah,being inscrutible and spouting words of wisdom. Actually I have to be gentle with our Saskatchewan granddaughter's mom,her Dad died this morning .Her mother told her to keep her plans with us as did her Dad. We cant say anything because she hasnt told Natalie yet as she is only4 and must find a gentle way to tell her.

Funny I never got along with Ronda when she was with our son,but since they broke up we have been closer and can keep in touch with Natalie anytime we wish. Now that Ian is her only grandfather,he wants her to know we love her,too. It is supposed to be hotter tomorrow,glad I put the big watermelon in the fridge. Hope it tastes good!!.well,its too hot to sit at the computer and I do need to sleep tonight. will be back tomorrow,I hope !!!

It has been a while since I wrote anything.I have had headaches,probably my brain is falling apart.Ian had an accident with his table saw.A chunk of the wood came apart and smacked him in the forehead with enough force to knock him flat on his ass. If he had have done what I wanted which was go to the hospital,I figured he would bleed like a stuck pig taking warfarin and all. Of course he didnt. and of course I was mad about that. But then,I dont tell him about my gut problems or headaches.

This coming week we are going camping for a few days, sort of a shake-down cruise. Then we can see what we need to put in it and what we dont need. Took everything out when we put it away for the winter now have to do the reverse. Thats where my compulsive list making shines.

Ian is going quadding tomorrow and I decided that to hell with housework,I will go too. It has been hot today, we spent the morning sitting at the pergola and watching baby nuthatches being fed by their mother.Same thing with chickadees. we keep pnut butter and birdseed mixture in the holders all year long.First year the mothers and babies have been here. The crows are nesting on top of the neighbours tree,we can see them when the parents feed them.They will be gone soon. We have a little wren that sings so nicely,so that makes it just that much nicer to be outside. well,all for tonight,head is hurting so need some sleep.will make sure to write more soon.

well here I am again.The bad neighbours have been playing radio music loud,so of course I had to retaliate-German heavy metal,blues,reggae soon!! I am so bad!! I feel pretty good today Its sunny and warm and the wrens have been singing all day.

Our daughter and 2 grandkids are moving back with us. She just cant afford to keep the apartment and feed the kids and pay her bills. It is a bad place for her to live. Her ex-boyfriend smacked her, ,knocked over little Kritter plus gave my granddaughter bruises. all over his cell phone.Well the police are taking over.

I like things peaceful but there is always drama here. We may put off our trip until August,but no later then the middle of August. One advantage is we will get the freezer cleaned out,both of them!

I dont know what to have for supper,maybe some of the walleye,easy to do and tastes good. Could make veggie coucous with Ian friendly veggies.

I found the book for my cell phone,Ian can figure out for me how to get vibrate off and ringtone on. Cant hurt the thing but I hate dealing with electronics. Give him something to do tonight.

I had to go back to my titanium wedding band as the gold one is way too tight. I find it takes some getting used to,it is a lot heavier than gold. One hand has titanium and silver and the other hand has stainless steel with gypsy set diamonds and gold and white gold.. I am a jewelry freak I guess.

The good neighbours are sitting outside so I put on classical-Vivaldi's Four Seasons. It was the first classical I had Ian listen to and he liked it. Anything but late 50 early60 country. He listens to Hank Williams in the garage.Cant stand it along with rap. well, my brain is like a black hole,sucks everything in but never lets interesting stuff back out!

Got back from fishing a couple of hours ago.Was raining here but no rain in Athabasca and Calling Lake is another 52km further north. It was sunny,there was no great wind and it wasnt rough. We got our limit of 4 walleye,2 each. They have to be a certain size,no smaller and no larger. Harry took his gravol without any problem,no drooling. He had fun ,hunting the mayflies. Mighty hunter my foxy is. He growled at every guy he saw, they all thought it was a joke. Hey he is all terrier and it doesnt matter to him what the size of other dogs or people are.

Ian is giving one fillet away to friends but we will still have 7 left. I am so sleepy,all the fresh air I guess. Ian is going to help with the tranny he worked on last night,have to hook up hoses and what not. That will give me a chance to dig through the pile on the computer desk,about time,too. There are so many things here than need to be put away. Will do laundry,too.Have to wash my jeans to make sure the colour doesnt leach out. Either that or I am going to wear pyjama pants when go to the Yukon. well,this is a short one,cant keep awake so off to bed I go. Bye for now.

It has stopped raining and the sun is out,Harry will be glad,he hates going out in the rain. The grass is up to his belly but have to wait until it dries because the lawn mower is electric and with my luck,I would run over the power cord!!! Make my eyes light up!! Ian is helping a friend to put in a transmission in a 3 ton truck.

Tomorrow is the fishing trip up to Calling Lake,can keep 2 walleye each. He wants to go camping for a couple of days next week,sort of a shake down trip. See what we need to put back in and clean the fridge with baking soda. All the towels have to come in and be washed,they smell like,well,I cant really describe it,sort of a dead smell. the blankets have to come out,too.

We are leaving it late to confirm lists and such. The truck needs to be cleaned out,too.

Have bruises on both arms from the witch at the lab.I have to go again the first part of July,no butterfly,no blood!! The bruise on my left arm is the size of a looney and purple,the one on my right is the size of a golf ball. well,thats all I can think of tonight,be back tomorrow.

well, its raining,we need it. Went out to see where the fire burned,which is also where we have buried our daughters cat and Isaac. little burned around the edges of the place but the fire didnt get the graves. It mainly burned the grass and pine and spruce trees,this was at the edge of one side of the burn.I was so afraid they would have made a firebreak right through the graves. I am used to FIRE BREAKS on the island,not the puny little ones they put here.

Went to the lab today. the witch in there,even after I told her I have poor veins,used a big needle which hurt like hell and she wondered why she only got a few drops. I told her they usually use a butterfly,it takes longer but gets results. So we went to the other side and she went right through the vein,I told her it was full of scar tissue from constant bloodtests. Finally she got enough for 6 vials but it hurt and she got on my last nerve.

Dont know for sure when we are going fishing with rain forecast for all week. Poor Harry was car sick today,we didnt go very far but I opened my window and let him have fresh air and he perked up again. Was going to clean up around the computer desk but didnt,tried to finish a book but couldnt.It was just a lazy day all around. I just couldnt get motivated. Its not like I have to get stuff done right away or the earth would stop spinning. I figure getting all the books in the bookcases was enough done for a few days.

Going to get Ian to bring up a roast from the freezer and I will stuff it in the crockpot,easy, meal cooks itself. My granddaughter who is 17 loves stew and really is happy when it has dough balls [dumplings]. I should make another batch of xmas cake,have all the stuff to make it,even the rum but if no rum,can put in bourbon. I have altered the recipie over the years so it doesnt have any fruit except glace cherries and golden raisins,only almonds etc. I like making it and butter tarts.Well this is making me want some supper so I should find some like tomato soup and grilled cheese. Talk again tomorrow,who knows what that will bring!!

well,here I am again. It was a beautiful day,not really warm but sunny. I am going to have to get Harry a raincoat,it rained last night and it took forever to get him out. I am sure that I am losing my mind. I spent more time today trying to remember simple stuff like,where is my cellphone and did I shut it off. I have to fill up my daily pill holder,was going to do it all day but forgot until now.

We are going fishing Tuesday because that is supposed to be the best day weather wise. Dont know how Harry is going to like the boat. can tie his leash to the anchor.He and I have to both have on sunscreen, I will spray it on a cotton ball and wipe the inside of his ears. I need it or I will be beet red in a matter of an hour,less if its sunny. I should have bought Harry the ball cap at PetSmart,he is going to get one before we go to the Yukon. I can give him up to .6cc of Gravol but he was a bit sleepy with the .3cc so that is enough. Bought him heartworm medication just to be sure-$22 a month. I am going to the UFA store in the Fort,they gave all kinds of wormers and the like. I may just get ivermectin and use it on Harry and Baby Ditz. Used to use it on all the critters.

Today I just did the least thing possible.Finally got the Yucca plant and the cacti outside.The Yucca has really grown over the winter. Spent some time taking off dead leaves so bugs dont have somewhere to hide.Watered the houseplants and shoved a fertilizer stick in them all. I am sure they enjoy the benign neglect I give them.They sure dont get overwatered here,lol.

I have to find a decent pot for the weeping fig,so it is ready when the tree grows.I dont know what to do about my jade plant,it is growing like a weed.I suppose the eastern light all day long helps,its bright and in summer there is a little sun in the morning,well it is sunny when I get up!!!

I was going to get books put in the bookcase but never did,Ian has his stuff[junk] on 4 shelves!!I told him 1/2 of a shelf.He only hears the first few words then turns the rest into something he thinks I would say. Makes for some interesting disagreements. It would be great if he would say I am right and do it my way. Its not that I need to be right,I just need to be right!! well it is midnight and I do need to get the stupid pillbox filled.Night to all until the next one of these.

Short one tonight,my back is feeling great. Doctor laughed at the circles,Bulls eye! We did a quick trip into Edmonton,Harry gets .3CC of gravol,it makes him a little groggy and he is so funny.He growled at every dog in PetSmart today,He wanted to take on an English bulldog. Got him his muzzle,he hates it but too bad,he will only wear it when kids are around. I wanted to buy him a cute blue ball cap that said I bite but Ian is against dressing up a dog. I couldnt buy him a toy either,we had 15 on the bed last night,there is some in the bathroom,kitchen and livingroom plus some in this room. Guess he has enough until xmas.

Ian got his cherry tomato planted in a big tub,he wants to move it around to 'follow' the sun. One of the tomato plants we bought yesterday is a purple one,the other is a bush tomato.We still have tons of tomatos in the bottom of the freezer from last year! thats why only the 3 plants this year.

Tomorrow I am going to put books in the book shelves. Back hurt so much just couldnt do it before now. I am going to try and get stuff done while I can do it without pain. I can deal with a lot but when you cant even do anything,thats too much.

The alliums are all out of their covering and they look like purple star-burst fireworks. The iris that Ian dug up from a ditch have flowers on each plant,and another plant he dug up from the ditch had red flowers last year but the plants themselves have doubled in number. One bag of potatos had a lot of sprouts so Ian planted them to see if they would grow,well,they are all up and doing fine. Next year I am going to but a Virginia Creeper and plant it at one side of the garden bench.It has a trellis over the top and if I am lucky,it will eventually crawl over it. We didnt get a hole dug for it this year but will shovel away the rainbow rock and cut the plastic and Ian can dig a hole for it. Hope I can avoid buying gnomes when they go on sale,probably not. I filled the yard with solar lights,some are just lights and others change colour. Our back yard is divided in 3 parts,my rocks from BC and Yellowknife,which has the pergola and gnomes,the middle third contains grass and the veggie garden,and the other third beyond the chain link fence has the garage,travel trailer and the truck and it is all gravel. the front yard is half rainbow rock as a base with very large rocks we have collected around here,the other half is grass.Put a new front porch on but never did get around to putting in the stairs. May not,dont get unwanted callers every week!! well this is longer than I thought but sometimes I get going and cant stop. I hope anyone whom reads this will not be bored by it.Nite All.

well got my shots today,the doctor put in extra lidocaine so I would get immediate relief from the pain.It takes 2-3 days for the inflamation to settle down. I didnt ask him about stronger pills for breakthrough pain.He did get a kick out of the circles!

We have to go into the pet store tomorrow to get Harry's muzzle and to get some medication to protect him from heartworms,It will actually get rid of any bad thing he may have in his gut. We have to stop at the vets before we head into the city to pick up a very small syringe so we can measure the gravol. I still have syringes from when we had goats,horses,in BC. I actually protected the dogs from heartworm without even knowing. Every critter got ivermectin,and it didnt hurt them.

Its going to be a flying trip into the city,have to plant snapdragons and Rosemary.I love the smell of it and cook a lot with it.[when I cook,lol].Ian is cooking little steaks for supper,not really little,just the size I should be eating. I gained a bunch of weight so have to get on the bike and use it to help to shed some pounds.

It is supposed to rain tomorrow and even the next day. The temps for May have been cooler than normal,global warming?? I didnt sleep well last night,had a return of nightmares I had as a kid. Must have some issues about things. I usually dream about the drinking my parents. And have had the dream of living through the admitting of my mother into a detox ward. I had to clean the house which included pouring the rye down the sink when I found it. It is hard because my two older sisters didnt have a clue and the 3 younger kids ignored it. Guess who got called, me. I barf at the smell of rye. My kids remember my parent's drinking.

Harsh legacy to give my kids,strong possibility that they could be addicted to something.

On the brighter side,it was 22C outside,great,just hope the warmer weather gets here soon,dont want my bones to ache. well Ian has started cooking supper so must go.will be back tomorrow,God willing and the creeks dont rise. Bye

It is snowing!!!and its the 29th of May!!! My poor alliums,the flowers were just coming out. I have been off and on in bed all day.None of the meds for my back are working. I cant cross my legs to put socks on! I may spend another day in bed and maybe I can get an early appointment this week with the doctor. We are going to the lab on Monday morning so will get the utilities paid and head out to Fort Saskatchewan and will stop at the doc's office in Gibbons on the way to set up the appointments. when they see me hobble in,I am very sure they will get me in on Tuesday.

I think I slept most of the day but could use a whole lot more. All I seem to do is sleep. Ian is so good, he doesnt complain and will cook supper as long as I clean up. No problem,if it was just me,I would live on salads,grilled cheese,tomato soup and Kraft Dinner. Corn and peas for veggies.

I have been holding off getting into the shower,it hurts too much to twist the body around. Maybe I can talk Ian into washing my back and legs.Yeah,wouldnt take much talking,rofl. Harry doesnt like the snow,he had nice green grass to eat now it is white. And he sure makes quick work of his business! Bought some child Gravol liquid,just got to stop in at the vets to find out how much to give him. I could just put a bib on him but I know how I feel in the backseat,have to bring a bag! dont want him to suffer.

Already making lists of what food to bring when we go to the Yukon. Oatmeal for breakfast,soup and sandwiches for lunch its just supper that has me stumped. Oh well,I will 'git er done'. well heading off to bed before I cant move. Try and talk tomorrow. Bye

Going to Edmonton tomorrow. Ian is planning the route by the places I want to go so it will be the west end,through St Albert.then up to 137Ave until we get to the northeast and come home.Should be fun even tho the retarded weather witch says there will be rain. We are taking the truck because some of the places have iffy parking.We will take the El Camino into the Fort tomorrow.

I fell asleep this afternoon and missed all the news. I forgot to take anything out of the freezer so we had soup and grilled cheese. Was good with my salad. I have to stop at Walmart,they are the only place I have found pumpkin orange spray paint. I want to paint the black bird thing I have in the garden and orange is a good enough colour. Have to buy cup hooks so I can hang my sleeping gnome. Also have a string of solar lanterns and have just the best place for them. All of Ian's sunflowers are up,mine are just starting. Just noticed that the alliums will be in bloom in a day or so.

Going in with Ian when he gets his bloodtest and will have mine too. Have to get a seperate one in July. It has something to do with my platelets. who knows,maybe they do tricks or something.We are going to the Yukon in about 6 weeks. I have to figure out what food to take and what clothes to bring along. We also have to figure out what to do with Ian's warfarin etc.

I think the dr will tell us to stop every couple of hours so he can move around.Thats fine by me,Harry and I will be up for a pee break anyway. We figure we will stop at Pouce Coupe for the first night. They have a nice little town campground that is cheap!!

I am going to see if I can get on the bariatric surgery list. I cant seem to lose the weight I need to.I have been to overeaters anonymous for 4 years in BC and never did lose a pound. I take medication that keeps the weight on,specially the insulin.Been on it for 16 years.I get fed up with skinny drs. tell me to use willpower.Any of the "groups" that are for chubby ones can kiss my ass,too. I left OA for 6 months,came back and the same people were bitching about the same things,they hadnt changed anything. I never went back.I would go for the lap band surgery,if I can get on the list.I may not be able to because of the hiatis hernia.who knows,it cant hurt to try.

well,I am going to end this and go sit out and watch the solar lights as they come on. Have a yard full. Will be back tomorrow night or Friday night and see if I can have an encounter with a walmart person,rofl

It started out cloudy then sunny now back to cloudy.Hope the solar lights got enough sun. I am going to the doctor soon,going to get Ian to use permanent marker to pinpoint the area that needs an injection.The marker will wear off eventually. if not,oh well,I will have black circles on my back.

Ian is giving me a great anniversary present- he will pay for my tattoo pigs eyes to be coloured and his wings also.Little sucker will have red eyes and grey wings. The next Tattoo will be a mosquito with attitude, and will say Bite Me.,my second favorite saying.My favorite is Kiss My Ass.the pig says....when pigs fly!If I was younger,I would have tattoos all over my arms.

Ian helped plant a large field with spuds,and helped with onion sets and a bunch of other veggies. We dont plant greens anymore because Ian cant eat them being on warfarin. I cant eat the amount that we would have.

I dont know what I did to lose yesterdays blog,cant remember what I was typing so it must have been boring.My daughter Cathy was rear ended on her way to work .My grandson was in the car and it was good he is still in the car seat. They spent most of the day in the Emergency.

She has slight whiplash and my Grandson didnt have a scratch. People dont know how to drive in traffic circles. The Asian guy who hit her didnt want to give her his info after she gave him hers,but she called the cops and he then gave her his info. Her insurance company wants to get her car scanned as it is a unibody and it may be damage not seen by looking at it. She is on light duty at work,how can a silk-screen hand printer be light duty.

I need to get my granddaughter Caits out here to teach this old bitch some new tricks on the computer. She is patient with me. I dont even use my cell phone,but I dont like talking on the phone anyway. I have to stop in at the vets,to find out about heart worm and how much Gravol to give to Harry.We are going up to Calling Lake which is about 11/2 hrs from here to catch some walleye. They bite really good when the fluff is flying. I will just sit at the shore with my dog and we will both be stoned-Harry on gravol and me on antihistamines. Ian can catch my 2 walleye and row in and give them to me then he can catch his2. Will be interesting day.

I might go into the Fort to get a couple of salads for me and maybe some caffeine free diet cola.Safeway has a good brand that doesnt taste like chemicals. well,I think I caught up on things now,but never can tell.My mind streams 2 different thought processes,so I find it easy to read a book and watch TV and not miss anything,yeah I truly am a mad woman lol.

It is another crappy day.Havent slept well even with the meds.t is supposed to clear up by moday.Planning to go into the city on Thursday. There are places I want to go to JYSK and a liquidation place,then will probably pig out on mussels and pick up 6 more fish. I want to check out the saddlebags for dogs,Harry needs to drain his excess energy and he can carry his own poop bags and treats.

I spent 2 hrs scrubbing the deep fryer,had a boil over and the oil just seems to burn on the sides.Well it is clean now with fresh oil so happy frying.Should have the other bookcase up tomorrow,then Ian has to lug approximately 30 boxes of books. There may be less but if I take the ones I enjoy reading,most of them will find a home somewhere,either back in a box or on the shelves. Ian doesnt enjoy reading much,I read way too much but learn a lot of stuff. My head is full of useless information but it does come in handy sometimes.Its weird,I can pull stuff out of my head all the time.

The damn cat is scratching on the wall because he wants someone to bring down whole cat food.He does not like to eat little pieces,spoiled old thing. If he dropped them on the floor,Harry would be a happy dog. Today feels like I should have put the furnace back on,supposed to be 0C tonight. Guess I will have to get another comforter and throw it on the bed.

There is absolutely nothing on TV tonight. I guess I could always watch crap or a dvd. will probably watch a dvd.Dont have a clue when Ian will be back. Hope it isnt too hard to take out that transmission. Its big because the machine it is coming out of is real big. I could have my shower before he gets home,he is gonna need a big one when he gets back.well,Im going to make a cup of Roobiboos tea and read some more.Maybe I will have something interesting for tomorrow.Night All.Ill be back.

well,the heat is finally gone and the fire is now in control thanks to the rain we had last night and the off and on stuff today. Ian didnt go planting spuds,it was too mucky at the spud area.

I managed to get the dishwasher emptied and 2 loads of laundry plus I made supper. Havent taken any drugs yet today.It takes me twice as long to do anything today.Then I find out that Cathy and Kritter were rear ended at a traffic circle. Kritter was fine,glad he isnt big enough for a booster.Cathy has a mild whiplash,but wait until tomorrow!!She will probably be more sore than now. I still remember the whiplash I had,took forever to heal.

On Monday I am going to get my blood work done. See if I am low on iron again.Must be,I wake up just as tired as I felt the night before. I was full of energy,did all kinds of stuff when I caught a virus that gave me pericarditis. They found the pleursy 8 days later when my blood oxygen was so low I was talking to shapes on my wall and dont remember 2 days. so it was another time in hospital. never got over it.

Enough whining,sound like a crabby old thing. My friends like me,so thats all that matters.Supper was real crap. It was supposed to be meatballs in gravy over nice fluffy rice. I forgot to wash the basmati rice the 3 times so it was kind of gooey.

It has been raining quite hard,with thunder. Hope the fire got some of the hard rain we did. I wont have to go out and water the potted plants tonight.

Ian is going to help out with potato planting tomorrow. I cant bend over good enough to help so will fool around and get some stuff done. I have to do a load of towels,there are only the ratty ones left in the cupboard. We went into the Fort today to get the paint, this time I took a hunk of the wall for their matching machine. Ian wanted to change the plug so he cut a big chunk out of the wall. The colour can best be described as Home Depot orange mixed with red.

When we got home it was 31C outside. 26C in the house. warm. all the fans were put to good use. It has cooled down with the rain so is at least kind of comfortable. I sleep poorly when it is hot,only because of the meds I take am I able to sleep at all. Most of the meds make me super sensetive to sun so I usually always use sun block and wear a hat,mostly ball caps.

Saw my first actual Walmart person. She was wandering around the store with gloves,earmuffs and a tuque.Did I mention she was wearing Daisy Dukes?? Everyone else was sweating as bad as I was,lol.I was not the only person to stop and stare!!! I had a few words with a dumb bitch at the stop light.She threw a lit cigarette out her window so I called her a dumb bitch and asked her if she would like her house burned because someone else threw out a lit cigarette. Ian sort of hid behins the steering wheel. I was not quiet and I was not polite. Her mouth just dropped and the light changed and we drove off..

We are having another series of thunder and lightening so will have to shut down. Will be back tomorrow,God willing and the creeks dont rise.

It is so frigging hot,at least 10 degrees above normal. Cant open any windows as the smoke from the fire makes my throat sore.Our friend has moved all her horses and donkeys plus cats and dogs home. Was surprised to see her being interviewed on TV. She has a little minature donkey that when she bought him, had never been brushed. He has long long forelock,I call him Joanne's Rastafarian donkey. Ill help her put beads in it. I have some really colourful.

Ian has 1 and a half bookshelves put together. Tomorrow we are supposed to finish although it is supposed to be over 30C and I dont think I will be of much help. I finished most of my planting on Saturday,just have a canister of assorted flowers to scatter all over the round bed. Hope they all come up and I can get flowers for the house. I always have sunflowers but sometimes I like something not so boisterious,like the sweetpeas and the like. I just remembered that I have nasturtiums yet also have a package of wall flowers but have a nice pot for them.

Went to Home Depot last week to get paint to touch up the bedroom. They had Prarie Sunset as some creepy peach sherbert. Ian is going to cut a piece of gyprock so they can colour match it. well, I am heading off to bed,under the ceiling fan. It has been quite the day.The fire got going again,they estimate it is 1000 hectares. We had one friend evacuate their horsed,donkeys,dogs and cats because if the wind shifts,their place wont be safe. Another guy we know lost his,barn and outbuildings,they managed to get the fire away from his house. Where we quad,there is 2 building that got burned. It was hard to breathe outside this afternoon. the wind shifted again and I couldnt smell any smoke.For a time there was an air quality advisory for Redwater. my throat was sore so didnt go outside once that happened.

We got more cow manure this morning. The guy was there and offered to fill the truck for us. This stuff is fresh and looks to have no bedding in it. The stuff smells good.Our creepy neighbours on one side will be quite pissed off. Tough shit. Speaking of that,they scoop up their dog crap in a pile at the fence. Doesnt bother me, we pick up ours every day and put it in the waste bin for organics.Nothing can be more organic than dog poop.

These neighbours are so strange,if we go outside and they are out they go in,bring their kids in and their 2 dogs. He has never said a word to us during the 4 years they have been there.Oh she talked to me after one of their drunk friends called me 'sweet cheeks' and Being my usual self,told him to fuck off.She said dont say that and I told her to fuck off,too. I cant stand drunks,never have. I have heard some worse language coming out of her mouth directed at her kids. Small town,small lots ,open windows and doors!

Tomorrow I have to spend some time searching for my phone's house charger,cant find it. I have to get the laundry caught up and clean the bathroom floor. If it is not too smokey out side,I will plant some more seeds.well, thats all thats happening here for now. Have a good night,all.

we were over at a friends house this afternoon,he brought Ian back a bottle of Old Granddad Bourbon. We notices a smoke plume rising and heard emergency vehicles. There is a fast moving brush fire not far from their place. After we left,we looked back at the smoke and it was black and heavy. Guess we wont be quadding in there for a while. The smoke is over Redwater and I have a sore throat from it. Supposed to be hot until next Tuesday.

Ian got two planters filled with mixed dirt and cow manure. We will have to go gather more cow pies tomorrow. I dont have much to say tonight,not too much happened today and I am going to have grilled cheese for my supper. Ate my salad but fell asleep watching the news. Just heard they are going to put water bombers on the fire,there was one in the same area last year. fire should be out soon. It has not been a good day fibro wise. My biceps and triceps are all in spasm,elbows hurt and the weirdest of all is the charlie horses in my diaphram. I turn too quick and there it is feeling as big as a baseball. Have the brain fog,too. I am trying to get along with as little pain stuff as possible.

One bright note,I bought more solar trash for the backyard.Sure bathes the yard in colour!!Ian is planting parsnips and if I can I will be planting all the sunflowers,and the geraniums. I just noticed today that the metal bench needs to be painted I put a large planter on the seat with 3 different colours of geraniums. This year its 3 shades of pink.I will put nastursiums all around the the planter. Last year we planted marigolds in a huge bed,but this year it will be an assortment of flowers,will have to wait until they germinate. We are going to be gone for 2 weeks in July,so I didnt want to have too much for Cathy to water when she gets here to clean the cat box.well,Caits can do the cleaning of the box.

We went fishing yesterday and it was so much fun,I couldnt fish and I wont get into the boat so Harry and I had a good time napping. We have to get him some gravol or the like,he got car sick on the way back home.Just drooled a lot and laid with his head in my lap. Poor thing,he was fine once he got out of the truck.I knew that I was in for a bad day when I woke up,I usually stretch before I attempt to get up.could not even do that well the flareup usually only lasts a few days.

Ian is still being a food Nazi,I have decided to just ignore his attitude and keep on with what I am doing. I like to have a choice of what I have on my plate,not something he thinks I like. I am tired of potatos ,no matter how they are cooked. same with rice so I will make bulgar and coucous. Well,it is after midnight and I need to try and get comfortable. Went fishing in a trout lake today,at least Ian did. There were a pair of Great Blue Herons flying around and I think I know where their nest might be. Saw 3 Osprey,one dove down into the water but came up empty beaked. There were crowds of red winged black birds,males of course. The females are a stripey brown,very plain looking. we used to have all those at our old place. Even saw a big red-headed woodpecker and a little downy woodpecker. we see those each winter here.Ian mixes up chunky peanut butter with chopped peanuts and bird seed. no wonder we go through so much peanut butter,all the nuthatches and chickadees eat the black oil sunflower seeds plus niger seed. we grow a lot of our own sunflower seeds so just leave them standing all winter.

I am making an appointment with the family doctor because of really bad headaches and bleeding nose.Oh well,just more tests.wonder if that is because of low platelets.Well they will also find that out from my next blood test. I have to go pick up my insulin tomorrow.they gave me 2 boxes and owe me 10 more. I have 98 refills left. 1 refill of 12 boxes costs $640.00, I pay $25.

Poor Harry was car sick on the way home.He didnt barf just was drooling and keeping his eyes closed. Now I know that I need to go to the vet and get him something for travel sickness.Got to find out about heartworm meds. We didnt have that on the island so never thought to get information on it.

Ian is still being a food Nazi. I have finally gotten him to realize that somedays I am just not hungry. I have something to eat much later.Like yougort or strawberries or my favorite raspberries. I was going to make pea soup tomorrow but the temperature is going to be warm. I should be able to plant the sunflowers,the calendulas and nastursiums.

We have to start thinking about getting the trailer ready for the Yukon trip. Need to unroll the canopy and give it a scrub besides all the outer shell. We left the fridge door open all winter so I just need to scrub it down with baking soda. Same with the bathroom..we wont find any mice nests because we put bait on top of the tires and every cupboard. Probably left clothes in there over the winter as well as towels.Have to wash them,they get a funny 'dead air' smell.

I am going to finish this now, and go to bed,have been fighting off sleep since 6pm. Maybe instead of fighting it,I should just go to bed.will talk again soon,hope it is more interesting next time. hmmm dont I say that every time?? Night to all

I am finally talking to Ian a little bit. I was sooo mad at him yesterday.I was in the veggie department of Walmart getting salads and he goes "PUT THAT BACK" people turned around and stared and I was so embarrassed that I called him a dumb ass and told him he could just F&%#K right off. I immediately headed to the check out. My face felt like it was on fire I was so embarrassed.

We later went to get cow manure,I stayed in the truck with Harry as he picked up cow pies. Will have endless supply now. I still didnt talk to him,just Harry.This morning he finished the pergola roof with out me mentioning it so I figured he was sorry and didnt know how to say it yet.I still am not completely unangry with him. Jerk was just in here and said the salad dressing I bought was gross,all I said was dont eat it then,wanted to say more but its like arguing with an unarmed combatant.

If he would not be a food nazi,then I wouldnt get stressed,which wouldnt cause more cortisol to run around my body and that on top of chronic fibro pain and the arthritis in my sacro-illiac joint I could deal much better with him and everything else. I think I am just tired,when I am I get achy and bitchy and just want to be left alone.

He wants to get manure tomorrow,then probably go see if there are any pigeons flying. then end up at his buddy's place to help take out a tranny in a big tracked Cat.

I am hoping all my solar thingys in the backyard are charged. 2 werent last night so I moved them to a better place to get charged. I also have a gnome in a hammock to hang up also. Have all kinds of gnomes,pigs and rocks from all over.We brought 2 from BC that you dont see out here some from Yellowknife and will get some in the Yukon. We left behind my red Jasper nuggets which weighed 10 lbs each. Couldnt bring everything as it was we were condensing 2-1152 sq.ft.floors into a total 950 sq.ft. basement included. we had to be ruthless.

I brought all my books because we took 3 U-Hauls full before we even sold the place. and we had this house already. well think I will take some pills and try to sleep. hope next blog is something of interest.

well we awoke to howling winds and some snow.Guess my poor lilies and alliums will freeze.It was a mad house around here.Ian tore the shelves out and there are holes in the gyprock.He has to patch them and repaint 11/2 walls. Harry was so upset with all that was happening that he peed on the floor. I dont get any bookcases until the wall is painted so I must get to HomeDepot for more.At least we still have the label so we can get the right colour. I have so much to get done tomorrow before the kids come. One is to clear off the dining room table,the other is to make sure the bathroom floor is swiffered. Have to make a birthday cake. Ian made jello yesterday. Hope I can find birthday candles somewhere in this place.

It is cold,just like early spring before anything grows.I hope Kritter likes his birthday cake made in a bundt pan. I may just see if I can find other cake pans in the coldroom. Coldroom my ass,it is the same tempurature as the basement.It is a good place to store things you dont use often and have nowhere else for them to go.

I cant eat garlic bread,had some with supper and have a gut ache and bloating which means dont put your face under the covers!! This is going to be short tonight, The house looks like a bomb went off. Just wait until they get a look at the kitchen wall colour!! they havent seen it since it was painted. The closest to a neutral colour is the living room with walls that are blue/grey.They will be getting painted a nice topaz this winter. I have so much to shovel away because Caits is bringing her boyfriend,and I kind of dont like strangers coming here with the house like it is.oh well,if he doesnt like it too bad,he will be covered with cat hair and dog hair.Welcome to the MAD HOUSE!!!

We went into Edmonton to go the the flea markets. It was a fun day,didnt spend much but it was great. Got a wrapped cd I had on my list,and a wrapped DVD that was on another list.Now I can get rid of the VHS version. DVD's take up less space than videos.,space is something we dont have too much of.Today has been a madhouse here,finding places to put stuff off the shelves. There are only 2 more shelves but the bedroom looks like a bomb went off in there.

Not feeling so good with my stomach,looks like I will be going to the doctor soon.I may end up with having the hiatius hernia fixed. I am going to try an experiment,stop eating bread and wheat products to see if I feel better. Doesnt hurt to try and all I will really miss will be grilled cheese and garlic bread.

It was raining when I got up this morning but has stopped now,still looks real grey out there. I have got to get the lilies planted real soon.They are calling for rain/snow showers for tomorrow. who knows,the weather lady is such a dumb bitch so we could have what southern Alberta had.I think I will go in a few months early Oh,it started raining again!

I have the oven on,waiting for it to heat up to bake the spuds, I am not all that thrilled with gas cooking.we had propane in BC and all my recipies are timed for that. It was hard getting the timing right so that is my excuse for not baking a lot anymore.If Ian wants a cake,he makes it himself,they are generally okay but he puts fruit cocktail in most cakes. All I bake these days are butter tarts and tomato soup cake. I do xmas cake all year long,I dont use and peel,hate the stuff,just use glace cherries and almonds,golden raisins.Has hardly and cake to it. Have to bake a cake for Kritters birthday on Wednesday.They are coming out for supper-rotissed chicken

I won a contest at the Home Shopping thingy,got a lot of stuff.The rotissery is the best thing ever,got2 flavor wave cookers and other stuff. My friend phoned me because her mom had watched the draw and heard my name. I didnt believe it until Purolator pulled up in the drive way.That was at least 10 years ago,when I was still chatting on Gamehouse.lol The spuds are in the oven and in half and hour or 45 minutes I will stick the sausages in with the spuds.

I was too late remembering I had to go to the drug store.well,there is always tomorrow.I might be on here again tonight but if not will be back tomorrow.Bye now

We went into the Fort today.The main reason was to get the last 3 boards we need for the pergola roof. As usual,Home Depot only had warped and twisty boards or ones full of knot holes. Then we went to Walmart again. Ian got wheels for his table saw.I bought the original Robin Hood that was on the air when Scott was born. I really liked that show,but then,I turned 7 the following week.Old but good.

I again bought food.I am not buying any more food till either the freezer downstairs or the fridge freezer are emptied.Have better luck getting hit by lightening that emptying either one of them.

I even cooked supper tonight,baked chicken and baked potatoes. Had no fat sour cream for it.Doesnt taste too bad,although I would prefer full fat stuff. I do what I can do to keep the carotid artery from getting more blocked. Ian said I could make a normal stirfry and he would just pick out the high "K" veggies which would be broccoli and baby bok choy. It would then taste normal to me.

Have a box up to clear off the shelves in the bedroom. Then Ian can take them down and put up the bookshelves. One bizarre thing I saw outside of walmart was 2 ladies putting on gloves,scarves,and ear muffs. Where did they think we lived,the north pole?? One thing I did buy was 20 lilies. They survive the winters good here.Maybe this year I can have enough to cut some for the house. I have to get 3 large geraniums for a pot on the garden seat. All of the flowers Ian dug up from the ditches around town are up with about 3 inches of green. The other bed of lilies has lots of growth,the alliums are by far the best growers this year.Having said that,we will get snow and cold temperatures.!!

I also got an Xmas cactus, they do really well here,could be the big east facing window.The 2 I had already ,1 is still blooming for the 3rd time and the other has new leaves all over.The new one should be doing good with a new pot and some fertilizer. Also finally got a weeping fig. It has new growth all over so should do good.

It is good that I can sleep in.I cut back on one of my sleep meds,back to the original dose,see if that has any effect on the sleep. Ian says I have been thrashing around in my sleep again,like I have a belly ache. Must mean I will be sleep-walking again. actually it is more like sleep eating.

Must truly be a mad woman!! well,I must go and fill my pill box for another week and give myself a shot of Methotrexate. Just got to remember which leg I used last week.well,enough from me and my boring life. If I win the lottery I would have lots to write about but since all I win are free-plays,will be a long time of this. Night all!!

Have to go into the Fort again tomorrow.Get the remaining boards for the pergola. Have to get batteries for the phone we bought yesterday so all the other stuff will work. Always have to go get something that we cant get in Redwater.

I am going to take the stuff off the shelves in the bedroom so Ian can take them apart,then he gets to build the bookcase.Bet each package will have their own alan key. I got up at 8:30 and Ian left to use a friends hoist,he wants to give the quad the once over. I kept falling asleep while reading the paper so Harry and I went back to bed.Must have needed the sleep.

Had stir-fry for supper,not much when I have to avoid cooking the broccoli and Singapore baby bok choy.It wasnt all that bad except for the rice Ian cooked.It had no salt or substitute seasonings to give it flavour. Bland on top of boring veggies made for a yukky supper. Then later he wanted a piece of ya pears and got pissed off because he said he didnt like them last time. I am going to eat my salad after I finish this and before I go to bed. Ian wants to put together a shelter for the Rotisserie because we are supposed to have rain with some snow on Wednesday

I am going to bake a big old chocolate cake because it will be his birthday, 5th of May and he will be 3. He can eat supper with his Punka. The rest of us can be there but it is HIS Punka.

Got the registration papers for the truck,ElCamino and the quad. Price didnt change . Still 186.45 for all 3. I pay more than that for all my drugs in a month.Have to get a couple of refills tomorrow so I can fill up my weekly pill box. I should go and wash my hair but I think I will just put it in a little poneytail and throw on one of my ballcaps.Usually wear the Ragged Ass Road cap,we got it in Yellowknife 3 years ago and there really is a street called Ragged Ass Road. Dont want to wear My Edmonton Eskimos cap, they havent started training camp and I dont want to jinx them.The only sport I will watch is Canadian Football. well thats all that happened today,boring as ever.bye for now

So we went and did the shopping. I must be a magnet for all the crazies,they always find me.Went into Giant Tiger just to look around while Ian was at the bank. Some old fart started talking to me and would not stop. I checked my lottery tickets [losers as usual] and got new ones for this Friday and Saturday.Still the old fart kept talking to me. Ian looks at me and I just roll my eyes,it is such a common thing.Went to a grocery store and had another weird person talked to me about the price of bread,how it is cheaper to buy store bread. I used to make bread nearly every day but I seem to be more sensitive to carbohydrates lately. Figured I was done with the crazies.No,I never find walmart people that look strange,I get the talkative ones. Could never understand why. Ian says they probably think Im friendly but dont know me.! He came close to being a homicide victim at that particular time. I thought WTF what did I do to deserve crazies.

Was going to make a stirfry for supper with veggies Ian can eat but after I got the groceries put away,my balance was out of whack and I just couldnt.Make it tomorrow.Besides Ian wont be home hovering while I cut the veggies with the mandoline. He figures I will cut my fingers off or something equally as bad.

It is garbage day tomorrow,hope I get all the waste baskets emptied for a change.

Harry is a bad dog,he chewed a plug in for the computer. We will now have to close the door of the computer room when we leave. Bought a new phone for the house,a corded one to replace the crappy one we brought with us from BC.It has large numbers,I guess one is getting up there when you need to buy a phone with big numbers!!

It is supposed to be getting colder. So much for global warming! Down to -2C tonight.And this is the last day of April??? I bought some foil wrapped baking spuds at Walmart.4 to a tray for a loonie,it was a good price so I bought 2.Then I had to get Sour cream-Fat Free of course so then I started thinking healthy food choices so I bought yougurt.

I hope to sleep in tomorrow, there isnt really anything that has to be done except find a home for the stuff on the shelves in the bedroom.There are 6 piggy banks but I am going to be rolling the coins soon,well,soon for me! I should take my meds and take Harry out for the last time tonight. All for today,maybe something interesting will happen tomorrow!

I am exhausted,was up early to read the paper and have my oatmeal breakfast.Headed off to Ikea.Bought 2 book cases,now Ian figures they are too big for the available space.I have a large wicker basket that I need to empty the shelves.Guess what.....I cant find the damn thing. The only extras I bought were 3 heavy based tumblers and 2 compact fluorescent lights.these look like a regular bulb .

Ian bought 6 fish on our way home,and I checked out back packs for Harry. He needs something to make his walk more of a challenge for him.can hold dog cookies in one side and a bunch of poop bags on the other.They even have a large choice of Life jackets for dogs,I wear one the odd time Ian can talk me into the boat. I swim like a rock,in and straight to the bottom!!.It is raining,and was glad Ian took plastic with us.It was perfect,like a huge bag,it was the bag that was on our new mattress when we picked it up last year.With the bedroom being torn apart I can get Ian to help me flip the mattress over,then end for end.

Harry is curled up in his computer bed asleep,running with his legs just a motoring,and growling and yipping. It is funny to watch.Ian is sound asleep,too.Maybe Harry will go and sleep with him and leave me for a change .

Have to go into the Fort tomorrow,Ian needs to cash his income tax refund and I write him a check for the balance remaining after the check comes.Bigger than usual this month but didnt have any big bills come in,like my books and subscriptions to magazines. I have been good only bought 1 book in April. No wonder I buy lots of bookcases!All I have to do tonight is write out a shopping list.Thats easy,have what we need up on the white board.I tried to think what else happened yesterday and today.Thinking real hard..uh...nothing.

I am going to have to get my doctor to hurry up my appointment with the vascular surgeon. I already have2 numb fingers on my left hand,a third started today as did a tremor. Not going to tell Ian for a while,maybe it will adjust itself. And if I tell him,he will get bothered and that cant be good for his already high blood pressure. And I dont know how any of this would effect his blood. It is probably nothing but I will keep an eye on it

I am going to buy some flowers for the house tomorrow.we still need to get 3 boards to finish the pergola,that will be nice to have something finished. Boy it will be nice to jump into bed and sleep if I want to.Harry is awake and went for a drink,so he needs to go out again. Talk again tomorrow.

well,I forgot to tell you yesterday that I looked like a "Walmart person" Ian said I looked funny.well,mr.fashion plate how do you look! I wore my comfortable yoga pants. Ian is just used to looking at me wearing leggings or jeans. Told him he could kiss my fat ass!! Maybe I will wash the yoga pants and use them as sleep pants. Ian has camo sweat pants and camo t-shirt he likes to wear to bed. Now THAT is a real fashion statement.

We washed the El Camino this morning.My job is to wipe all the water up so it doesnt look spotty.He wanted to take it Wednesday but I thought the truck would be better,we cant carry boards in the Elky. I went to bed at 2am then at 4,I had to get up and put paper towel on the 2 hairballs the cat left for us.went back to bed but Harry wanted to pee so after that I went back to bed,almost got up to sleep in the chair,Ian was flat on his back,gurgling,snoring,making all kinds of weird noises.I smacked him and he turned on his side-no more snoring!! Right about now I could use a sleep.Having dis-jointed sleep is worse that no sleep at all.

Doctor increased my insulin,its now 70 AM and 55 pm.My pen only goes to 60 but I just leave it stuck in and dial 10 extra and7 extra at night. I am not cooking supper tonight so dont know what kind of gourmet delight we will be having.It is hard to cook for 2,with Ian having the restricted diet and all. He loves beet greens but can only have the root part.Okay with me,I dont like them cooked so could have a bunch in my salad.I am going to spend a long time at Ikea,looking and asking questions. They used to have orange cupboard doors but they werent in the latest catalogue. This stupid blog always underlines stuff it thinks are not spelled right.It does not seem to like Canadian spelling.This is all I have to say today,my mind is a blank. Not quite its usual state. Have a good one. two angels for all.

We went to the Fort this afternoon,took the ElCamino out for the first time since September. It does not see any kind of winter weather.It is more protected than my large ceramic pig.I do believe we are taking the truck into the city on Wednesday,the drivers in Edmonton are maniacs. I made supper tonight,even veggies Ian could eat.

weather was weird this morning,had flurries,then the sun came out and it got quite warm. I was going to make pea soup this weekend but didnt have any split peas. They are now on the board so I can add them to the shopping list.My life is boring. I havent done anything interesting since I got my shots. Well,training Harry isnt exciting but he does learn. Trying to teach him"inside voice".We had a poodle cross named Pooky who did it on her own so I figure Harry could do it too.He is good with the come and sit but stay is something I dont think he will do.He turns his head to the side and looks like he would say if he could,'You dont expect me to do that do you??' We turned the furnace on for a bit because it was uncomfortable. I had to turn the heater on to warm up the shower room.I must have pulled a muscle in my upper left side back. Really painful when I move or breathe. I thought for a while that it might be pericarditis again,the pain is similar.but its not because you have to hunch over to stop that pain.I am getting a little fed up with all the charlie horses I am getting in my legs and feet. That is a fibromyalgia thing. I am going to get Ian to rub in A535 in my back and sleep with only 1 pillow to see if that helps. I have to do laundry tomorrow. I just looked at the laundry basket and saw that it had multiplied overnight. There are more towels than anything else,wonder if I shower too much?rofl.

I had an orange last night and had such a bellyache.Guess oranges are off the list. Ate 2 tums and it went away.Same thing happens on a much larger scale when I eat bananas.Ian has acid reflux but he can sooth it with tums.well,maybe something of interest will happen tomorrow,I sure hope so. I have spent most of the day covered with a huge leopard blanket and a comforter.I am chilled.Ian spent the day drilling holes in the fashia[sp?] board to get air into the attic. he still has to cover them with mesh so the bees wont make a nest up there. I have no energy today,guess I need a little warmer weather to get kick-started in the morning.Took until noon to get the paper read.Harry kept climbing up my legs to get near my neck.Cant read the paper with a dog under my chin! He was cold so I guess I will have to turn the furnace back on.It is chilly but there is supposed to be rain all week. We sure need it.

I think Ian is making supper tonight but am not absolutely sure. I could throw together some grilled cheese and tomato soup,mmmm,my idea of comfort food!!

I am going to have to fork out some bucks for a new medic alert bracelet. Ian should have one while taking warfarin. Mine is an expansion bracelet and it pinches all the time Maybe I should try a necklace this time.The bracelet I have is my 3rd in 16 years of being diabetic. Too bad I dont qualify for an islet transplant but I still have my own insulin creeping around the body. I

am very lucky that I dont have any nerve damage,or eye damage. Just am so tired of having to have a shot twice a day. Not to mention the shot of methotrexate I have every Saturday.It is hard to keep track of which leg I used the week before!!

So Ian is making supper for sure. He is going through the pantry calling out this and that. I told him my choice but since he is cooking,it is his choice. Harry keeps jumping on my legs,looked at the time-he wants his supper.There now I have fed Harry so he wont bug me for anything for a while.I have noticed that he keeps pushing me off my pillows at night,cant even have my pillows to myself!!Harry goes nuts when the crows are walking on the road and the front yard. He doesnt like magpies either. So Ian is making some rice thing that I am not going to eat.I asked him to bring up bread but he said the last stuff went mouldy. I dont eat all that much bread except for the dangerous stuff-garlic bread. I could eat that stuff everyday.!! I was going to do some dusting today but I laid down until the urge passed.Filled the dishwasher and ran it.I cant figure how 2 people can use so many dishes,its never ending.well,I must go dig through the pantry and see what gems I can find. nite all.

It started raining last night and rained today until mid afternoon. There is a possibility that it will rain most of next week.we need it,it is sad to see all the empty dugouts with geese and ducks just sitting there..I got my bedroom vacumed and all the dog toys picked up.Harry has more toys than any dog needs. He plays with all of them so cant really get rid of them.It is a touch irritating in the middle of the night tripping all over them.I dont like to turn on the lights because that will make me wake up completely and I can say goodbye to anymore sleep!!

Dont have an clue about doing anything tomorrow except to empty and refill the dishwasher. What I would rather do is watch old movies and sleep all day. Wonder if anyone notices the recurring theme of sleep.Yes,I dont get enough because of disjointed sleeping patterns at night. After a week or so of that,I start sleepwalking. Ian tells me I get up,get something to eat or drink,wander around for a while then come back to bed. I am lucky I dont fall down the stairs!!

I have got to check and see if I have any split peas,need to make pea soup. Froze the dumb ham bone and it makes me feel guilty when I open the freezer and there it is staring at me.. Next time I will make sure Cathy and the kids are here for supper when I cook the other spiral ham..

I am trying to get all the plants in good shape before they start their annual growing spurt. I have a small leaved rubber plant that started as a 21/2 inch pot,It is now 9 inches tall and as wide. The livingroom window faces east so all year their is bright filtered light. I am still looking for a ficus plant but no luck,will have to go to a nursery I think..I dont know what to get Kristopher for his birthday, We were going to give him a fishing rod and reel but Ian figures maybe next birthday. I will probably get him a Tonka truck or grader or backhoe.He is a great kid,loves his Punka so much and Nana is okay,too. My running shopping list didnt happen,dont know if it is because we dont need anything or someone rubbed off the board, white boards are great most of the time.

Ian is watching the Untouchables,the older TV show with Robert Stack,he of the expressionless face.Ian got his Income tax refund today,I got mine a few days ago but wasnt expecting anything and was not disappointed. Ian got back exactly what the Quick Tax said he would get. I think he is going to spend it on the trip to Whitehorse. I am not sure if I want to buy another pair of earrings or some artwork for a change. I have a bracelet of T'lingit design already besides the Haida Killer wale earring plus a pair of Raven stealing the sun earrings.Maybe I should stay with the carvings.

well, I really havent got anything more to tell anyone that would be of interest so will take the meds and try to sleep.bye for now

well,I feel like crap.been out in the sun and wind and got the full brunt of something pollinating. My eyes are all red and itchy,feel like sand in them,I'm sneezing. good thing I have antihistamines.They are a one ingredient antihistamine.

It is finally sprinkling.This will help with all the brush fires around Edmonton.Our county has a total fire ban.even now,it is still hot. Ian planted the sweetpeas,they have a lovely smell.I have to plant sunflowers,have 4 different kinds,some for the birds and others for the house. Have some calendulas for a pot and some california poppies.

Ian is going to plant some orange beets,since he cant eat the greens,he can still eat the root.We are planting 2 rows of hills of spuds at a friends place.They are planting loads of spuds themselves what is 2 more rows.Making plans to go to Whitehorse,making lists as to what food to take and checking places that have sani-dumps.No use lugging a load there and back. We are going to get a hoodie for Jackilyn with the money her and Grandpa got by taking carts back. I think that is more practical.we will get the usual shot glasses but I am in the mood to buy some jewellry,probably carved mammoth or something. we are going to put in a new card in the camera and I am bringing the old Canon SLR camera,it has a roll of 24 in it so might as well use it up.Tomorrow I am not doing anything at all,just take my antihistamines and sleep all day.I will clean up the bedroom the next day.well,Harry has been a little pest,I assume he needs to go out and I should take my meds.

well I wasnt on the computer yesterday at all. All we did was buy some groceries and get boards from Home Depot.3 more boards and the roof of the pergola is finished. It has been really hot with a lot of wind.Grass fires all over the place. It is supposed to go back to seasonal temps tomorrow but I will believe it when I see it. Have had the furnace turned off since Saturday and the windows have been open day and night. We went to trap pigeons this afternoon but it is so hot they stay away from the grainary until dusk.Also went to shoot gophers. There wasnt any,they have moved to the nearest dugout.So we visited a friend and he was tearing down an old wooden storage shed.The cat had dug doen 2 feet and hit ice!! it is on the shaded side of the property,not much sun.Ian is going to plant potatos with them and we get 2 rows of hills. When we got home I had to go to bed,took 2 antihistamines ,my eyes were all gritty and itchyhad a bitch of a headache,still have one but its not too bad.The trees are coming into leaf and flower and I have an allergy to some tree pollen,especially cottonwood and poplar. My eyes look like I have been on a bender. Will be putting insurance on the El Camino this coming week, We will use it when we go to Ikea. Ian wants to do some work on the front end of the truck. I just want to get a couple of bookcases.and maybe something else.I like the accessories they have there.

well,I am going to take my meds and crawl into bed,maybe I wont have a headache in the morning.well,I dont know what I did but the font is different. oh well, I am just too wiped out to care

its late but I cant sleep so here I am.I turned on all the outside lights that have off/on switches. There are flashing butterflies and a moon that flashes like a cop car.

it is still hot but we should be back down to seasonal temps by the weekend. Watch the news every night to see where the newest grass fires are.so far except for the small on across from the hospital,Redwater has been lucky but all it takes is a cigarette thrown out a vehicle window or the hot exhaust on a quad and it would be a fast moving fire.The winds are strong which doesnt help,Hopefully we will get some rain this weekend.

I was trying to see how far back I could remember.I remember when I had the measles,my poor sister ran blocks to catch the ice-cream man and when she got back,I couldnt eat it or didnt want it.Remember the CPR ferry to Vancouver,the Chesapeake Retriever Poncho and him jumping into the pound truck.I remember the first time I saw tv,the carved lady in a rickshaw.There was also a carved piece of ivory with tiny people inside,sticking a piece of an electric cord into a socket and getting burned. I must have been 3-4 because I had red measles at 3.but do you think I can remember what I wanted to put on a shopping list.. I hope everybody gets like this,I dont want to get alzheimers and not remember.well,all the books I have read will be new again.!!

It seems to take forever for my sleeping meds to work but at least they still work.I hated it before,took hours to get to sleep,and 2 hours later I would be awake.I could put up with it for a time but eventually I needed meds. I can pinpoint when my health took a nose dive.I had pericarditis and pleursy, The pleurasy was discovered when Ian came home from work and I was talking to shapes on the wall.I dont remember going to the hospitalnor the next 2 days.first thing I was conscious of was a nurse doing a blood gas.they are incredibly painfull.I wish that every doctor had to have one then they wouldnt order them all the time.It is almost midnight so I think I had better head off to bed.

We have had the furnace off for 3 days which is nice. Cant see putting it on for a few coolish nights.

Ian put the last board he had on the pergola,will be nice when it is finished.He is painting the tailgate of the truck,carrying the quad with the tailgate down and there are multiple chips.Looked funny because it got to the primer and there was little white patches all over.He took all the badges off the truck and with the billit grill it is hard to say what species it really is.

Put the cat in his harness attached to the flexie leash.Harry went nuts running round and round only barking when he got near the cat.Baby Ditz would hiss at him but didnt whack him.

.Spent most of the time sitting in the shade.I will have to stick with roobibos red tea,the one I usually have has cloves and cinnamon in it which is a better cold weather drink.well, I actually did some housework,then I decided to go back out until the feeling past.I just had to give the dustmop a workout,lol. Did get the dishwasher run,but havent had the urge to empty it.I havent even taken anything out of the freezer for supper,think I would like tomato soup and grilled cheese.

Was reading a magazine and they had a fashion shoot,I was so pissed off,they used models that looked anorexic,I mean,these girl/women had scrawny arms and legs.Could give famine victims a run for their money.If they ate more than salads they might gain a pound. I have to go into the Fort this week for groceries.Ian wants to get 3 boards and I need more salads.plus,I like to wander around Walmart.Dont see any of those "Walmart" people,unfortunately. I am sure they are around but I usually spend my time in the pet section or veggie section. I guess the weather isnt warm enough. We are in a drought,but havent planted anything.Havent even sent in my seed order to Veseys! Maybe I will just buy sunflower seeds locally.Ian is planting sweet peas tomorrow.They will be nice this summer,They smell really nice when they are in the house and last a long time.

Going into Ikea on the 28th,I want a couple of book cases for the bedroom.We go on a Wednesday as it is mid-week and we can go down the east side of Edmonton and miss the Whitemud[freeway].while I am there will check out some cupboards. And I know I will come home with more than 2 bookcases,always happens.I should check and see if there is any plastic cheese in the fridge. Time to end this boring 'me'fest,lol.

well,it is late afternoon and has been sunny and warm. Did absolutely nothing in the house, Ian brought up all my gnomes and 2 pigs so I stuck them outside,Had Harry out for a long time,took him for a long walk and found out he needs more walking to stop some of his behaviors. It will take time as everything does with him.He heard kids playing in the playground and started growling.He really does not like kids.Ian put the yucca in the shower last night so it got a good watering then and this morning I watered it again.We did the usual,forgot to take anything out for supper.I guess it will have to be frozen pizza.I will eat my salad first then wont pig out on the pizza.All my Lilies are above ground and the hen and chicks survived another winter. Sometime this coming week we are going gopher hunting. My first time here.If Ian didnt fool around with my scope,should be able to pick them off without a rest.HaHa,I need a rest but can always use the door post of the truck.

He likes the fact that I have become a good shot. Never shot a gun until I was almost 23 but once I did,I was good at it.My biggest thing was if I could shoot a deer,when the opportunity came.I could.

Its funny,I cant watch movies or tv shows that show animals being hurt.I know rationally that they are not but tell my brain that.Its strange,that when we lived in BC,if I wanted a rabbit for supper I would go out and butcher one,same with duck or goose.I preferred to do a rabbit,it was less messy. That is one thing I miss,fresh rabbit.I havent found anyone who sells it out here.

I think I am going to get Ian to bring a box of books up because there is nothing up here I havent read 10 times.

Well here I am again. Bought some more trashy crap for the back yard,this time its butterflies that change colour. We then went over to a friends place,took Harry. He was not impressed by one of the old farmers,didnt growl but didnt go near. He had a time barking and trying to chase the feral cats.Tomorrow if Ian doesnt bring up the gnomes,and meerkats I will just have to smack him. well,if I feel big and brave enough!!lol. After my shower,my nose and chin turned out sunburned.Well,if I remember,I put on sunscreen because I even burn when we go ice-fishing. I am going to have to go back to the doctor,One of the shots hasnt worked. It has been 5 days,the pain should be gone by now. We had the kitchen window and the bathroom window open today. was nice to air out the house.Tomorrow for sure the yucca goes into the shower and the other plants need to be watered and fertilized.BabyDitz ate the tips off the little spider plants I had potted,the furry bugger. I will have to put them on a hook. I have been looking for a weeping fig tree.Had one in BC but I would forget to water it. It grew well but I need plants that thrive on neglect.Have no problem with things like Golden Pothos and dumb African Violets and Xmas cactus,that blooms 3 times a year. I cant grow any kind of ferns or ivy,they hate me.Actually truth be told,I get tired of them and just let them die.

At least Ian didnt watch 2 1/2 men. I now hate that show with a passion. 2 hrs a night,I would much rather hear a fishing show than that show. My job for the next while is rolling coins.There are pigs all over the house with coins in them and the pennies......AAARRRGGGHHH.I need one of those coin sorters and counters, would make it easier. I think I will eat the raspberries that are in the fridge,either that or I will freeze them for later or for a smoothy I have meal replacement drinks in the fridge but they are vanilla so havent tried them. well,there isnt anything left to say, except for my back it was a good day. I am such a stupid person.no wonder I burn so easily is that half my meds make me sensitive to the sun. going to have to put a post-it on the bathroom mirror to use the sun block!Dumb or what!! well bye for now.

What to muse about.Ian has finished his pigeon cage.Now maybe I can get him to bring up all my gnomes and solar powered thingys.I think I wont be able to get him to do anything until he has this pigeon thing off his mind.He is watching time trials on my TV,but at least it isnt Two and a Half Men.I am so not interested anymore in Nascar,what I am interested in isanything else.Have to take anti-histamines,there is something outside that makes me cough,probably snow mold. One thing I bought[ windchime] said it was solar,today I noticed a little red tab sticking out and discovered the off/on switch.I dont feel dumb,Ian checked it over and didnt notice it either.I have to change the CD's again,put back some that I like and turf the country.Etta James,Big Mama Thornton and some other blues. like bluegrass and will keep Ians cd of the PeatBogFaeries.Often wonder what it will be like when I feel old.Not the aches and pains,have had them for 40 years,so they dont count,just when there is no interest in anything.I have ordered some books-as if I dont have 10 boxes plus the ones on the shelves.I prefer hard-cover but will take a paper cover if its a good book.My reading is like my music,eclectic,I will read a travel brochure if there is nothing around.Have to take something to read when we go to Whitehorse,the sun is up for 20 hrs!!Ian wants to eat mussels but I dont think I want them tonight.I do have garlic toast ready to pop in the oven,my biggest weakness. well I guess I will end this and crawl into bed and watch a dvd.anything to get the racing off,that and fishing shows are like watching grass grow.

what is left of the day is sunny and warm.Got dressed and went out to where Ian was building his pigeon-catcher thingy. He looked up and said where do you want to go.I guess he can read me like a book.Went and got 4 more boards,then fooled around in Walmart. I was looking for some of those Walmart people.Guess its not warm enough yet.
I was going to vacum the huge dust bunnies but I did it on Tuesday .any more times one would think I was a clean freak.Ian is doing rib eyes for supper,got a bunch in the freezer.Once I have my salad,wont want anything but the steak.Maybe I will do him some bulgar,makes a nice change from spuds.I figured out why my sugar was out of wack-pigged out often on garlic bread.Dont usually eat so many carbohydrates.I have got to clean out my bedroom,the place of last resort for crap that doesnt have a home.might get that done but am going to spend time outside while it is nice.The laundry basket is still in there full of clothes so those need to be folded,then that will make more room for me to walk around.I need to get 2 Ikea book cases so Ian can take the shelves down,they are dust catchers and I want to bring up more books from the basement.It is just figuring out what day would be best,after the end of the month.Probably a Wednesday would be fine.well,not much going on,just my boring life.Wouldnt change it if we won the lottery,I would get another toy fox terrier for Harry to bug,it would be Ians dog.well,bye for now.

was a beautiful day today,sun shining and it got up to 16C. We went and looked around an auction place,looking at all kinds of stuff,had all kinds of machinery,farm stuff,cars,quads etc.Nothing that I wanted,Just what I need,more crap to put somewhere which means it ends up in the basement or in my bedroom.The auction is tomorrow and is supposed to bring over 1 million dollars.picked up prescriptions and got the mail.That was the sum total of my day.Lets hope tomorrow is a bit more exciting.Ian is still working on his remote controlled pigeon catching cage. If he does catch a pigeon,I will be surprised. Going to watch a movie tonight after we watch the Mentalist.I really am bored,dont know why.Maybe its because my back doesnt hurt and I want to do something.This is boring,I should do something interesting,like go on our trip next week instead of waiting until July. Dont go to the vascular surgeon until Sept 13,so we have to take a dry run into Edmonton to find the place. Probably send me for more Doppler ultrasounds,as if all the one I have had during the winter dont count for anything. been wondering if I should take up Yoga or something like that.oh yeah just picture me stuck in some kind of weird position until Ian saves me!!!

I hate the women who call from India for Telus products. I dont have telus anything,finally switched my phone to Shaw. It is cheaper than telus and can get on the phone with a real person.It pisses me off that the Edmonton Journal has customer service in Winnipeg!!Like any one there has heard of Redwater. I believe I need a new computer plus a few lessons. Ian figures just because I can get email,I should be able to do magic tricks or something.I am just 1 step above knowing nothing. Going to buy one of the "Dummies" books and maybe able to do stuff. I am in a bitchy mood today,dont know why but I am and its not my blood sugar.It is supposed to be good weather for the next 7 days.will believe it when it happens. Ian is going to fabricate a cage with a remote controlled stick to trap pigeons. Just so it keeps him busy. I think maybe I have spring fever,want flowers to grow and green things outside. well have rhubarb above the ground,that doesant count because rhubarb grows as soon as the snow is gone. Watched a weird dvd last night,The Happening.it didnt end like I thought it would so was entertaining. Might start watching the 35hrs of Spaghetti Westerns. will be a change.

I wonder why Global TV Edmonton doesnt get rid of their annoying weather dummy.She drives me crazy.SHUT THE FUCK UP WOMAN. she cant even get the weather remotely right.The CTV station has a real good weather person but the news readers are awful,can put up with the guy but the woman has weird different size eyes,spend more time looking at these strange different size eyes and dont catch all the newscast.Harry wants to go out but really I think he wants to bark at the neighbours dogs. These neighbours are weird also. If we come out to sit in the sun,they pack up their kids and dogs and go inside. this has been going on for 3 years. If they insist on playing dance music,I will put on a bellydancing CD that I have. They will then think we are terrorists. I need a vacation like not wait until July,go in June,or even May!!!I dont know why but everyone seems to do stuff to bug the crap out of me. Maybe I just need more sleep,who knows.could be I just need them to leave me alone. and I certainly dont need to remember stuff for Ian. I have enough trouble remembering stuff for me.I bought hot dog buns but no weiners, Could be going crazy,then who would care just stuff me in a looney bin and forget me.Nice family.back later

There is hope for spring yet. The sun is trying to shine.Would be nice if the wind would stop for a while. I am not sure if anyone is going quadding this weekend or not.Would be nice,the mud holes

should be gone.Although,there was a lot of snow in the bush,mainly shaded areas.Duh! of course it would be in the shaded areas,where else!! There is nothing to watch on TV,either.I watch Fringe and Sanctuary and PBS on Sundays. Ian watches nascar shows and races and fishing shows. Sometimes drives me crazy.at least he isnt a hockey fan. I admit I watch CFL but only when the Eskimos are playing! Supper is going to be a catch whatever is in the fridge night. I am so used to napping in the afternoon with taking the muscle relaxants that when it gets a certain time,I get really sleepy.

My latest tests confirm what I have been thinking,sugars are high[as usual] but everything else is fine.Had a B-12 but where ever I was bleeding,it seems to have stopped as the iron was good. New problem,low platelets.I will not have a blood marrow test unless I get put to sleep.Done enough painful tests. who knows what the next blood test will reveal.

new beginings

so,here I am,moving into areas I never thought I would. Why would I create a blog?? Becauseonly 1 person liked my stuff on Facebook,daughter said write a blog. I still dont know how to do stuff on the computer but think maybe I should. Words dont seem to come easy right now,maybe because I got used to facebook,and have to get comfortable with this. Here goes. Ian left this morning with a rifle so he is either after gophers or coyotes.Not the best time of year for coyote pelts,they are moulting so wouldnt be very nice. Im doing laundry as usual,didnt want to go anyway,just waiting for the prednesone shots to completely do their job. Might be good by tomorrow but who knows.

The ice is off the river and it sure looks good but low. Need rain badly.There is already a fire ban for Sturgeon County. Was a small grass fire across from the hospital.Harry is chasing Baby Ditz around the house.Every few minutes,the cat turns around and puts the claws to the dog but they keep doing it. This blog is aptly named,havent got anything worth saying as I read it over ,at least I can vent,about all the stuff that either bugs me or pleases me. Hope it gets better with time.
